Can Lumin Crystals buy Anipod Ultras?

Lumen Crystals can be used to purchase Sparkling Cubes and Anipod Ultras.

◇verified at launch · Sept 2026

Lumin Crystals are the premium currency. You buy them with real money and spend them in the cash shop, so anything priced in them is a wallet purchase rather than something you grind out in the field. Anipod Ultras sitting on that list means the top-end catching pod has a direct cash route, with no play requirement gating it.

Sparkling Cubes sit on the same list, and they are the clearer case of how the pricing works. A Cube runs 1,500 Glimmer or premium currency, and the actual transaction is buying 100 Sparkling Crystals and exchanging them at an Outpost vendor. That 100 crystal exchange is the fixed unit: it gets you a Sparkling Cube, or a Sparkling Pod if you would rather have the pod. So the shop price is one step removed from the item. You are buying crystals, then trading them in at a vendor rather than picking the Cube straight off a menu.

Getting crystals without paying each time

The monthly pass hands out currency across a 30-day period instead of dropping it all at once, which makes it the steady supply if you intend to keep buying pods. How much it actually gives is not settled. It has shown up as 3,000 Glimmer, as 300 premium currency, and as 330 Lumen crystals, so the figure you see depends on the build you are playing. Budget against the lowest of those until it firms up.

Not settled: Sparkling Cubes carry a Glimmer price alongside the premium one, so they have a non-paying route. No equivalent Glimmer price is set for Anipod Ultras.
