Can you trade Aniimo with other players?
Yes. Aniimo can be traded with other Pathfinders, and trading is one of the social features the game ships with.
What is known
- Aniipods come in multiple tiers, and higher tiers carry higher base capture success rates, so stronger Aniipods are recommended for difficult captures, although some specialised models such as Aniipod Track and Tumbler trade raw catch power for utility effects.
- Aniimo features online cooperative multiplayer game modes, letting players team up to explore the open world, trade Aniimo, and take on boss battles, alpha encounters, and other shared activities together.
- Players can trade Aniimo creatures with one another and send each other gifts, subject to certain costs and limitations.
- Tumblers are sold by outpost vendors such as Outpost Guardian Joff in his trade shop, for 200,000 gold coins each.
- Players can trade Aniimo with each other in social meeting areas.
- In Aniimo, players build a per-friend Affinity level that rises through ordinary play together, including talking and chatting, meeting up in the world, teaming up and fighting alongside each other, clearing team dungeons together, trading Aniimo, giving gifts and visiting a friend's Home, with higher Affinity widening the range of Aniimo that can be traded.
- Higher friendship levels allow players to gift or trade rarer, higher-level Aniimo and special forms, with the maximum tradable potential rising through caps of 8, 9 and 10.
- Higher friendship (Affinity) levels with another player unlock privileges, including Aniimo trading, and expand the variety of Aniimo that can be traded.
- Aniimo trades use a swap option that both players must confirm before the trade completes.
- Certain Aniimo require being traded to another player to trigger specific evolutions.
- Only some Aniimo can be traded: Perfect-grade Aniimo are tradable, while R-mana type Aniimo cannot be gifted or traded.
- Trading Aniimo requires players to be on each other's friends list and reach a specific friendship affinity level.
- Joff (also rendered Jeff) has a trade menu, separate from his shop, that includes an Item Exchange section.
- Fire Sprout Biscuits are obtained from the event vendor's supply shop through its trade or crafting option.
- Joff sells nurture items for spawning specific creatures under the nurture section of his trade menu.
- Item trading and higher-tier Aniimo trading require meeting specific friendship levels.
- Trading Aniimo between players costs in-game credits.
- Aniimo sealed during the Bond Pact event and hatched at global launch are permanently bound to the player's account and cannot be traded or exchanged with other Pathfinders.
- In Aniimo, players can explore together, trade Aniimo with one another, and team up for activities and boss fights.
