Creatures

All 86, with what each one evolves into and where it lives. The dex has this per creature; what it does not have is the family as a single page, or the region list turned inside out.

Names, habitats, evolution chains and traversal abilities are the publisher's own. Drop rates are ours, and there are none yet. Collection is under way.

Stuck on something?

If you do not know which creature you need, you know the obstacle. Across the whole dex there are exactly three traversal abilities. Each card opens a side-by-side comparison of the creatures that have it, including which is realistically fastest to get.

And what else they can do

19 Mobility abilities across 50 Aniimo — the bigger of the two lists. These change how a creature moves rather than what it gets you past.

Creatures by region

The dex's habitat lists, inverted. 15 regions across the creatures that list one. Evolved forms mostly do not, because you raise them rather than find them.

How to read this list

Every tile above carries four things the game itself records about a creature: a number, an element, a stage and — on its own page — a habitat. None of them mean what a reader new to the game would guess, so this is what each one is.

The number is a dex slot, not a ranking

NO.001 to NO.082 is the publisher's own ordering, and it groups families together rather than sorting by power. Emberpup at NO.001 is followed by what it becomes, not by the second-best creature in the game. Sorting the shelf by anything else would lose that, which is why this page keeps the dex order and gives you filters instead.

The run is not complete, which is worth knowing before you count the shelf and conclude the set is. NO.030 has no entry at all. Dazmand (NO.10002), Fulmintis (NO.10003), Little Fire Spirit (NO.11001), Lunara (NO.99996) and Helion (NO.99998) sit far outside it. What those numbers mean is not something the dex explains, so neither will we — but a list claiming 86 creatures ending at NO.082 is a list that has quietly lost count, and several of them have.

The element is a colour with 9 values

fire (12), dark (12), wind (13), grass (13), water (13), ice (5), rock (14), electric (10) and holy (2). It is not an even split: rock is the largest at 14 and holy the smallest at 2, so a party built around the second one is a party with 2 candidates to choose from. A rare element is not automatically a strong one — nothing in the game ranks the nine against each other, and neither will we until there is a live game to watch and a reason to. The eggs above the shelf filter it, and no script runs to do it.

The stage is where it sits in its family

29 Lumin, 37 Gamma and 16 Nova. Lumin is the form you find, Nova is the form at the end of the line, and Gamma is the middle where a family has one. That is why 86 creatures are only 33 families: most entries in this list are the same animal at a different age, and the dex numbers them separately because it is a catalogue of forms rather than of species.

52 of the 86 belong to a family that forks. The same Aniimo becomes two different things depending on how it is raised, and the publisher draws that as a branching chart. This is the single fact that other lists of this game get wrong most often, because a fork is easy to flatten into a line and a flattened line asserts an evolution that does not exist. Each creature page here draws the tree the way the game does, branches and all.

The habitat is where you catch it — when there is one

15 regions hold the ones you can find in the wild, Nimbus Fields the most crowded at 12, then Beast Fang Ridge at 10 and The Argent Strait at 9. The other 18 have no habitat at all, and that is not a gap in the data: they are evolved forms, so the way to get one is to raise the thing below it. If a creature you want is missing from every region list on this page, follow its family chart backwards to the form that does have one.

What "more known" on a tile means

4 of the 86 tiles carry a small more known tag, and nothing on this page has ever said what it is. It means that creature has material beyond its catalogue entry — something written down about catching it, or about what it is for — rather than that it is better or rarer. The other 82 have exactly what the game records and no more, which is not a gap so much as the honest state of a set nobody has played yet.

The tag is a promise about depth and it is checked: every field behind it either comes from the game's own entry or carries the number of independent accounts behind it, and a field with neither is rendered as "not documented" rather than guessed at. That constraint lives in the type rather than in a note, because this file shipped invented regions twice before it did.

Some of them are keys

36 carry a traversal ability — the thing that gets you past a cliff, deep water or a route you cannot walk — and the dex grades each one with a level. A further 50 carry one of the 19 Mobility abilities, which are a separate list and are not graded. Whether a given one opens ground is nowhere stated either way, so neither do we; they are kept apart here because they are kept apart in the game. The ability pages are organised by the ability rather than the creature, on the reasoning that when you are stopped you know what is in front of you and not the name of the thing that clears it.

The stage labels hide an overlap

Each creature carries a stat total, and grouping those by stage gives the progression you would expect: Lumin runs 339 to 467 across 29, middling at 429; Gamma runs 453 to 550 across 37, middling at 516; Nova runs 505 to 550 across 16, middling at 535. Raising something moves it up a band, and the bands are wide.

5 heal in 86

Every creature is filed under one role: 29 dps, 26 break, 19 sup, 7 energy, 5 heal. That distribution is lopsided in a way that matters when you are picking a party rather than a favourite — damage is the common case by a distance, and the supporting roles are where the set gets thin. If a role is rare, the creatures that fill it are not competing with many alternatives, and the question stops being which is best and becomes which one you can actually get.

Which is the same question the rest of this site exists to answer, and the one no list of creatures can. A role you can fill six ways and a role you can fill twice look identical in a table until somebody counts how long each of those creatures takes to obtain.

The families run deeper than three

"Three stages" is the shorthand and it is not the whole picture. 3 sit in a family 2 forms deep, 55 sit in a family 3 forms deep, 26 sit in a family 4 forms deep, and 2 have no chart at all. A family 4 deep is a longer commitment than the stage label suggests, because the stage names describe where a form sits rather than how many steps are left. Combined with the 52 that fork, the honest summary is that the shape of a family is a property of that family and not of the game.

Elements cluster, and most creatures live in one place

Across the 15 regions there are 103 sightings for 86 creatures, which is a thinner spread than it sounds: 52 appear in exactly one region, 16 in more than one, and 18 in none. So for most of the set there is a single place to go, and the region blocks above are a map rather than a shortlist.

The regions are not neutral about elements either. Echoback Landing is 5 water of 8, The Argent Strait is 5 wind of 9, Beast Fang Ridge is 5 fire of 10. That is a pattern rather than a rule — none of them is exclusive, and nothing states a reason — but it is worth knowing before you spend an evening hunting a type somewhere its element barely appears.

The handful the record is unsure about

Two oddities noted further up this page turn out to be one oddity. Lunara and Helion have no family chart at all — and they are exactly the entries numbered outside the main run. Besauce and Little Fire Spirit are a softer version of the same problem: they have a chart, but its stage labels and its drawn forms do not line up one to one, so the order cannot be read off it with confidence.

Those pages are still built and still correct about everything else — element, habitat, stats, abilities — and they simply do not assert a family, because asserting one would mean inventing the part that is missing. That is the whole editorial rule of this site applied to 4 entries: a gap that is visible is worth more than a gap that has been filled in, and a chain drawn from a chart nobody could parse cleanly would look exactly as confident as the other 82.

What the dex gives you, and what it does not

It also records a role for each creature — dps, break, sup, heal and energy — and a stat total running from 339 to 550 across the 86. Those are real figures and they are on the individual pages. What no dex entry anywhere contains is how long any of this takes to get: which egg drops a creature, how often, and therefore whether the obvious answer to a problem is the one worth chasing.

That is the number this site exists to add, and it is the one thing on this page we do not have yet. Where a rate is still under its publication threshold the egg says so rather than showing a figure. Every rate published carries the number of draws behind it and the interval it could really be in — the method is written down, and the rates page is where they land.

The 12 the release took back

Twelve creatures were announced before launch and are not in the game that shipped. The release of 16 September renumbered every entry and dropped them, most of them the Crescent Bay shore — a stretch of coast that went from eight creatures to one overnight.

Their pages are still here, marked. These twelve were announced, named and illustrated, and a page that quietly became a 404 would tell a reader who remembers one that they had imagined it. What nobody has said is which kind of absence this is — content held back for a later patch, or content cut — and since the entries themselves are gone there is now nothing left to settle it against. So the pages say what was known and stop there.
