Do players get free eggs at launch?

The condition on that is simply being there. It is a global launch reward, so it is tied to the game going live rather than to a pre-order tier, a spend or any amount of play. You do not have to earn the Perfect Egg and you cannot miss it by playing badly.

It also means your first session has hatching in it. Eggs land in your account as part of the same launch distribution, on top of the single Perfect Egg, so the queue starts full before you have done anything in the world itself.

Free eggs before the game went live

The launch rewards were not the only free eggs going. The Time to Aniimo pre-launch web event ran from August 26 to September 3, 2026 (UTC+8), and logging in each day on the official website granted an allowance of three random Aniimo eggs to hatch. The allowance reset once per day, so the ceiling was three per day rather than three across the whole event. That ran on the website, not in the game, and it closed before launch.

Sealed eggs do not all hatch on day one

Not every egg in your inventory is ready to open. A sealed promise egg cannot be hatched immediately at launch. You first have to unlock that Aniimo's form in the Anilog by going out and catching its basic version, which means the egg is waiting on your field progress rather than on a timer.

What comes out is worth the wait if you sealed something good. Sealed beta creatures keep their original appearance, stats, skills and sparkling status when they hatch at launch. A sparkling one you sealed in the beta is still sparkling when it comes out.

Not settled: Whether the free Perfect Egg hatches straight away or falls under the same Anilog unlock rule as a sealed promise egg is not settled.
