Does the battle pass have a free track?

In the game, this progression system appears as the Companion Handbook, also called the Companion Guide. The standard edition gives every player access to the free top track without paying. Rewards unlock gradually along that path as you earn battle pass experience during the season.

Playing strictly on the free track provides cosmetics and journey-assisting items, but it cuts you off from the secondary line of items running directly beneath it.

Upgrading to the Advanced Edition

Unlocking the paid premium track requires purchasing the optional Advanced edition for $10. For pre-orders, paid tiers are listed at €9.99 and €23.99 alongside the free tier. Buying into the Advanced tier activates both tracks at once, allowing you to collect standard rewards and premium bonuses simultaneously as you level.

Certain milestone unlocks never appear on the free line. The unique Aniimo form Prismana Fulmintis is exclusive to the paid track of the pass.
