GuidesIce Element Combat: Glynsera Debuffs and Freeze Stacks

How does Glacera maximize damage?

Glacera gains a 15% critical rate increase against targets with five or more ice debuff stacks to deal maximum damage.

◇verified at launch · Sept 2026

Maintaining that debuff count during combat requires deliberate setup because Ice Aniimo currently lack dedicated Support options. You must rely on regular attacks and specific abilities from your team to build and preserve ice debuffs so Glacera stays at peak output.

Geoclaw is an effective partner for this setup. As an Ice element BREAK Aniimo, Geoclaw applies ice debuff stacks very consistently, which lets you reach the required threshold quickly. Abilities like Boomerang Blade also contribute by continuously stacking ice debuffs within their area, and you can manually recall Boomerang Blade at any time to adjust to moving enemies.

Team composition requires caution if you pair Glacera with Glynsera. Glynsera revolves around applying ice debuffs to targets and consuming them for bonus damage. Specifically, Glynsera's Frost Tail Strike skill can consume 10 stacks of ice debuff to deal 85% extra damage. Consuming those debuffs strips the enemy of their stacks, dropping them below the threshold and immediately removing Glacera's critical rate bonus until you rebuild them.

Not settled: Closed beta descriptions conflict on whether the critical rate bonus triggers at five stacks or strictly requires more than five.
