Guides › How Capability Awakening works in Aniimo
How does potential grade affect stat growth?
An Aniimo's potential grade dictates the maximum limit of its future stat growth, granting larger attribute stat increases when leveling up.
Higher-ranked Aniimo outscale lower-ranked ones at the same level and personality.
Attribute Rank follows four tiers: Common, Good, Elite, and Perfect. Because an Aniimo's attributes scale with the appraised quality grade tied to each stat's Potential, creatures with higher ratings earn wider stat gains at every level-up and deliver superior combat performance.
Perfect sits at the top of the ladder. Catches in this tier start with higher baseline stats and potential values from the moment they are captured, making Perfect the point where players focus on min-maxing.
Innate and acquired stats
Potential divides into innate potential rolled at capture and acquired potential. Innate potential is fixed when the Aniimo is caught, which makes catching duplicates the standard route to securing better baseline numbers. Acquired potential can be built up later, and players can train their Aniimo to raise their stats.
Even within the same species and the same Perfect grade, individual Aniimo will still vary. Differences in stat distributions, traits, and specific potential ratings mean two top-tier creatures of the same species will rarely share identical stats.
