Guides › How Potential Grades Work
What is the highest Aniimo quality tier?
Perfect is the highest quality tier and potential grade an Aniimo can have.
It sits above Common, Good, and Elite as the benchmark where min-maxing begins.
Catches at this grade possess higher baseline stats and higher initial potential values. Because a creature's potential grade dictates the ceiling of its future stat growth, it gains larger attribute increases on every level up. At the same level and personality, its combat performance outpaces anything in the lower tiers.
A Perfect grade does not mean every catch is identical. Two creatures of the same species at this tier can still vary in their specific stat distributions, traits, and potential ratings. Because innate potential is rolled and fixed at capture, hunting duplicates remains necessary to find the distribution you want. Lock or mark your catches with a star before clearing out storage, as auto-releasing only protects shiny and Sparkling specimens.
