Guides › Managing Your Collection: Box, Locking and Releasing
What do you get for releasing an Aniimo?
Releasing or recycling a captured or stored Aniimo, including auto-releasing at the research console, immediately refunds most of the materials invested in it as Farewell Gifts, including coins, credits, EXP items such as growth seeds, Growth Buds and Growth Flowers, and other leveling resources.
Releasing can take place immediately upon capture or later from your storage boxes. For creatures you have already raised, letting them go returns your invested experience gems alongside baseline payouts. Clearing unwanted catches in bulk delivers coins and credits in a single action, which turns duplicate captures into a steady source of currency.
Because release payouts apply to both fresh catches and boxed creatures, catching surplus Aniimo remains profitable even when your party roster is full.
Checking Catches Before Releasing
Review your auto-release settings carefully to ensure you do not dismiss desirable catches automatically. Valuable Aniimo can be locked in the inventory to protect them from manual release. Inventory filters let you sort by Alpha status, Prismana status, and potential grade to identify keepers before clearing space.
Inspect an Aniimo for Alpha markers, potential grade, and weather or special forms before releasing it at camp. Two creatures of the same species can roll different traits, stat distributions, and potential ratings, making thorough inspection necessary before you liquidate duplicates.
