Guides › Inheritance: transferring level and resonance progress
Can Aniimo inherit stats across families?
Stat inheritance, including Resident Star Up and Awaken Potentials, can only be performed between Aniimo of the same family.
Each transfer costs 20,000 Credits when you confirm the exchange. The system moves levels, capability ratings, resonance, and invested progression resources directly to the recipient. Upgrades from Capability Fruits transfer automatically as well, which includes the effects of Kappa and Keeper fruits across generations.
You can also transfer resonance and invested resources to an eligible partner with higher potential. None of these gains can jump to an Aniimo from an unrelated species, keeping your time and material investments bounded to that specific evolutionary line.
Checking family lines
Check an Aniimo's evolution paths and gene sequences in the Dex or Aniimo menu before spending resources. Certain Aniimo species evolve along branching paths rather than a single linear line, offering two path options with separate requirements based on quest decisions and collected items. Because both evolutions still belong to the same family tree, invested resources and progression points can move freely between either branch.
Recovering materials without inheritance
Because cross-family inheritance is impossible, you cannot use the transfer system to salvage investments made in an unwanted species. If you need those materials for a different family, check the creature's level first. Resetting or respecing an Aniimo below level 60 provides a 100% refund of all invested resources and Star upgrade materials.
