Can Homeland automate resource gathering?
The Homeland player base automates resource gathering and production.
◇verified at launch · Sept 2026
Production runs passively against real-world time, so it keeps going while you are logged out. That makes Homeland the one part of the game that rewards you for closing it. Set things running, leave, come back and collect. It also changes how you think about a session: you want the farm configured before you stop playing, not after you start.
The labour comes from the Aniimo you catch. Homeland houses your collected creatures, and housed creatures can be assigned to farm resources, which means a creature you would never take into combat still has a job. Alongside that you cultivate crops, build and furnish houses, and decorate your space. The base is a sanctuary as much as a production facility, and the two halves share the same plot.
What Homeland development competes with
Growing the base costs Lumen Amber, the progression resource that directly advances regional and world progression. The same pool pays for Pathfinder upgrades, creature progression, equipment, world activities, and upgrading the Branch in Idol. Every point you put into Homeland is a point not spent on those. The argument for spending it here is that the base pays back on its own time, while the other purchases only pay back when you are at the controls.
