Guides › How Irisalis transmog works: slots, presets and rarity
Can you lock parts when using Transmog?
Transmog parts can be locked so they stay fixed on a reroll; with no locks every component changes on each roll, and with three slots unlocked at most two can be locked at once.
Locking costs you: lock one slot and every reroll after that costs two Radiant Dream Shadows, double the normal price. So a lock is worth it once you have a part you would hate to lose. Rerolling with nothing locked leaves every part to chance.
The two-lock limit means you can never freeze the whole look and reroll one slot for free. With three slots open, at least one is always in play, and that slot is the one you are paying to change.
You open Transmogrification from the Aniimo's information tab, the top-right tab of its inventory screen. Rerolls use Radiant Dreamshadow, the premium currency bought with real money and sold in store packs for Lumin Crystals. Glimmering Driftshadow is the free-to-play version. The Walking with Irisalis Legendary Journey event store sells it for two Irisalis Petals each.
Not settled: The doubled cost is only given for locking a single slot. What a reroll costs with two slots locked is not settled.
