What multiplayer modes does Aniimo have?
Aniimo features cooperative multiplayer, including challenges that can be taken on with other players, as well as PvP.
◇Aug 2026
You can team up with other players to explore the open world, trade Aniimo, and take on shared activities. Trading is required to trigger evolutions for certain Aniimo. Large boss encounters, including world bosses and Alpha Aniimo, are built for groups and can be fought cooperatively.
Multiplayer also extends to Homeland housing. You can share house and furniture group layouts using layout codes. When visiting another player's home, you can till or harvest their soil, which grants you a portion of that crop harvest.
Operation: Egg Heist
Operation: Egg Heist is a multiplayer mode introduced in the third beta that centres on collecting exclusive Aniimo eggs. It is also known as PvP Egg Heist, Diamond Egg Heist, or Diamond Egg Stealing.
The format of the mode varied across test builds. It appeared as a competitive race to collect eggs, an objective-holding match between two teams, and a PvP-only variant played in teams of three. Other versions tested it as a real-time PvEvP match in the Lost Isles, where three-player teams battle monsters and other players to gather and extract eggs and resources. It also ran as a match pitting up to six three-player teams against each other over a single objective, as well as a dedicated cooperative PvE mode with no player combat.
Not settled: The exact structure of Operation: Egg Heist remains unsettled, having appeared across beta builds as pure PvP, PvEvP extraction, team objective matches, or cooperative PvE.
