Does Aniimo have PvP combat?
Aniimo features player-versus-player combat, allowing players to initiate direct combat duels via PvP invites.
◇verified at launch · Sept 2026
Duels are opt-in. You send a PvP invite and the fight happens because both sides agreed to it, which means you are not going to be jumped by another player while you are out hatching eggs or hunting. Nothing starts a duel except an invite.
There are two duel arena formats, 1-on-1 and 3-on-3, and both run online against other players. The 3-on-3 version is the one that turns your roster into a real decision rather than a matter of who your strongest creature is.
Fixed roles decide your 3-on-3 lineup
Every Aniimo has exactly one combat role, picked from DPS, break, healing, support and regen, and it never changes. You cannot retrain a healer into a damage dealer because the fight needs one. So a 3-on-3 team is built by choosing which three roles you want on the field, and the only way to change that answer is to bring different creatures.
That makes collecting and PvP the same project. A hole in your role coverage is a hole you fix by catching or hatching something that fills it, not by reworking what you already have. In 1-on-1 the pressure lands differently: with a single slot, the role you bring is the whole plan.
Finding someone to fight
Because duels run on invites, you need other players in front of you. The central floating metropolis is the game's social hub, with shops, NPCs and egg-hatching facilities, so it is where people are already gathered.
Not settled: How duels get matched beyond a direct invite, and what winning one pays out, are not settled.
