Does Aniimo have PvP?
Whether Aniimo has player-versus-player (PvP) is unsettled: it is described both as including PvP game modes in which players battle each other and as having no PvP at launch, with PvP planned as an optional feature to be added after the current endgame content.
This one is not settled.
Both versions are shown because the disagreement is itself information — usually it means the mechanic changed between beta builds.
You can challenge other players directly in the open world through duel invites.
While exploring the shared open world, you encounter other Pathfinders and can fight friendly duels against friends or initiate direct battles. For structured combat, the game provides dedicated 1-on-1 and 3-on-3 duel arena modes, alongside competitive battles hosted in Metropolis, the floating sky city.
Egg Heist extraction matches
Competition also takes place in Operation: Egg Heist, a hybrid extraction mode also known as Diamond Egg robbery. Squads of three drop into the Lost Isles to search for resources and Aniimo eggs while battling both wild creatures and rival player teams.
In these matches, you can fight opposing squads and claim their items. Securing the central giant egg transforms the carrier into the egg itself, stripping away all combat abilities and forcing teammates to escort them to safety before extraction.
Not settled: Match formats for Operation Egg Heist are unsettled across different versions, with descriptions ranging from two-team objective matches to six three-player teams competing for a single objective.
