How are Holo Battle Interlink stars earned?

The rate at which Holo Battle Interlink awards stars for damage dealt to the boss before time runs out is unsettled: it is given both as one star per million damage and as one star per 1,000 points.

This one is not settled.

Both versions are shown because the disagreement is itself information — usually it means the mechanic changed between beta builds.

Stars come from damage alone, and only the damage you land before the timer runs out counts. A fight you are losing slowly still pays something. A fight where the boss survives at the buzzer pays only for what you did before it.

Each of the three routes keeps your best star rank on its own, so a weak run never costs you a better one already recorded. The weekly milestones look at the combined total across all three routes. That means raising your worst route is usually cheaper than adding to your best.

## What the stars are for

The weekly track tops out at 60 stars in the first season, and 60 claims every milestone. Two thresholds sit just below it: the star buff for the whole party unlocks at 48, and the random mysterious egg is at 49. The buff and its progress carry over for the season, while the weekly prizes reset when the next rotation starts.

## Getting more damage in

Random matchmaking is enough for the easier stages, but pushing toward 60 stars is a job for a coordinated team, ideally friends. If you are already strong, joining someone else's team and raising their star rank pays support rewards, scaled to the biggest rank gain you helped with.

Not settled: The exact conversion from damage to stars is not settled. The game is described both as awarding one star per million damage and as awarding one star per 1,000 points, so check the score shown after a run before you plan around either figure.
