How do you get Drapple?

Everything hinges on the talent: a Nimi without Dream Song will not turn into Drapple. There is no quest that hands it to you, so you can stop searching quest logs and journey chains for it. The work is on the Nimi itself.

Because this is an exceptional evolution rather than a standard one, levelling Nimi up and waiting is not the trigger. Like other special evolutions in Aniimo, the condition has to be met before any evolution resources can be spent. Here the condition is the Dream Song passive talent.

If you are unsure what the evolution still needs, open Nimi's evolution requirements in the menu and select "how to get" on the requirement or material. It shows where the material can be found, which Aniimo drop it and how to obtain it.

Not settled: No quest leads to Drapple in the current build. If one is added later, the talent route may stop being the only way to get it.
