How do you unlock Homeland?

Homeland is your own solo base. Nobody else walks around in it, so there is no visiting, no co-op building and no shared plot to worry about. What you get instead is a space that belongs entirely to you and a farming system attached to it.

The farming system is the reason to care about the unlock. You assign Aniimo to work there, and they keep producing resources while you are off doing something else entirely. The Aniimo you keep at Homeland are not just labour, either. You can pet them and interact with them directly.

Upgrade the RV before you settle in

The RV at your Homeland can be upgraded, and level 2 is the one to aim for. It unlocks Aniimo worker automation, which takes the manual step out of running the farm. Until then you are handling the assignment side yourself, so treat the first stretch after unlocking Homeland as setup rather than a finished passive income machine.

Not settled: How early Home Invitation becomes available is not pinned down yet, so expect Homeland to open when that objective comes up rather than at a fixed point in your progress.
