Any Aniimo assigned to base labor cannot join your active combat party. Choosing to automate tasks in the housing plot or the RV factory means setting those creatures aside purely for production. You can deploy multiple duplicates of the same species at once if you need identical labor roles covered.

Workers also require a steady supply of food to maintain their efficiency. If their food supply runs out, all work stops until you feed them again. Placing storage units near crafting stations, crop fields, and resource plots will cut down their transit times while they work.
