Guides › Wild habitat tracking and weather form spawns in Aniimo
How do you view an Aniimo's spawn conditions?
Selecting the grayed-out silhouette of an uncaught Aniimo on the map or collection screen displays its specific spawn conditions.
Every Aniimo spawn requirement ties directly to geography, weather, or quest progress.
Across the game, species share 19 distinct forms, meaning an uncaught silhouette often points to an environmental variant rather than an entirely new creature.
Weather conditions dictate many of these appearances. Rainstorms and thunderstorms trigger exclusive variants, such as the storm version of Coraliz or thunderstorm forms for Luminel and Scorchhowl. Regional and environmental forms are not inherently rarer or stronger, but weather variants can feature altered elements, elemental enhancements, and skill upgrades.
Area completion and variant forms
Area progress requires tracking these requirements closely. Achieving 100% completion in a zone demands capturing that area's Prismana and special weather forms alongside the base creatures.
Unlocking alternate forms also expands your combat options. Moves learned by weather variants can be equipped onto standard forms within the same Aniimo family. You cannot change an Aniimo into an alternate or weather form until you have caught that specific variant in the wild.
