Guides › How Capability Awakening works in Aniimo
How does creature training work?
Training spends resources to raise a creature's individual potential stats and combat power.
Training works on acquired potential only. The innate half of each stat is rolled when you catch the Aniimo and stays as it came. Each of the six attributes is the sum of both halves, so training is how you make up for a poor roll. A creature with low combat power is not a write-off.
The work happens in Capability Awakening, inside the training menu. You spend Stardust, Star Sand, Star Cyst Essence and Stardust Essence to put points into individual stats. Higher levels of potential need progressively rarer materials, so the first points are cheap and the last ones are not.
Training is one progression system among several. Levelling, traits, resonance, carried equipment and runes all add power separately, and training does not replace any of them.
Limits that decide how you spend points
You get 35 Capability Awakening points in total, which is not enough to max every stat. Choose the stats that matter for the creature's role and leave the rest alone.
A stat is maxed at 20 points of innate and awakened potential combined, and the star-up bonus raises that to 21. A crown icon next to the stat tells you it has reached the limit. Any further points spent there are wasted.
Below level 60 you can reset Capability Awakening whenever you like and get back every material you put in, Stardust included. Once the Aniimo reaches level 60 the reset is gone. Get the allocation right before you level past that point.
Not settled: Whether a reset still refunds materials on an Aniimo at level 60 or above is not settled. Treat level 60 as the point where your allocation becomes permanent.
