How many eggs can the Hatchinator hold?

The central slot is strictly reserved for special or golden eggs.

That restriction means you cannot fill all three spaces with standard eggs. Common finds can only occupy the two side positions, keeping the middle bay empty until you insert a golden or special egg. Golden eggs take 5 hours to hatch, though dropping any egg into an incubator immediately knocks 10 minutes off its countdown timer.

All incubation countdowns continue running while you are offline.

Expanding your incubation capacity

If three slots are not enough, you can construct additional egg incubators at your homestead. Extra incubators can also be built and placed at your personal camp RV area.

Outside of player-built structures, Hatchinators are permanently available to use at the Outpost, at camp, in your homeland base, and in the central floating metropolis.
