Guides › Elements and Elemental Advantage
Is there an in-game elemental type chart?
Aniimo have elemental strengths and weaknesses documented in an in-game elemental type chart.

You can consult the reference directly during play rather than memorising interactions in advance. Combat affinities follow a rock-paper-scissors advantage system governing enemy strengths and weaknesses, which makes the chart necessary when assembling teams for challenges like the Holo-Battle Sim.
Offensive coverage depends on the attack rather than the creature using it. Exploiting an elemental weakness requires activating an ability that matches the effective element, regardless of your Aniimo's base type. Defensively, the Aniimo relies on its own innate typing against incoming attacks. Check individual typings before relying on standard matchups, because regional variants can alter or add elements depending on the biome where an Aniimo was captured.
Not settled: The full roster of elements on the chart is not settled yet. Closed beta builds variously list nine elements consisting of Light, Dark, Fire, Wind, Water, Ice, Grass, Earth, and Lightning or Electric, ten elements with Rock added to that set, or an alternate group consisting of Fire, Ice, Water, Grass, Electricity, Rock, Wind, Dark, and Holy.
