What are Alpha Aniimo?

You must defeat an Alpha in battle before you get any chance to capture it.

They roam across the world map and appear in every region as major boss encounters. Selecting Go on an unknown Alpha Aniimo marks and tracks its spawn location directly on your map.

Unlike Omega bosses, which cannot be captured at all, Alphas become catchable once combat ends. Claiming one costs Primegy, an energy resource that regenerates over time and stays separate from your in-combat stamina bar. You can spend Glimmer a limited number of times daily to replenish Primegy for these captures.

Capture Odds and Anipods

Standard capture devices face steep odds against an Alpha. Base capture rates typically run between 8 and 12 percent with standard devices, sitting around 10 percent per attempt when using common Anipods.

Ultra Anipods eliminate that risk. An Anipod Ultra guarantees a 100 percent catch rate on any creature, securing Alphas such as Stellarys without failure. These high-tier pods should be saved specifically for Alpha encounters rather than spent on standard wild Aniimo.
