What is the capture rate of Alpha Aniimo?
Boss and Alpha Aniimo have low base capture rates, typically between 8 and 12 percent (around 10 percent) per attempt with standard Anipods, unless an Anipod Ultra is used.
Standard pods give between 8 and 12 percent success once the boss is defeated. Alpha bosses cannot be captured mid-fight, so you must deplete their health completely before the capture prompt appears.
Each capture attempt on an Alpha costs Primegy. This resource regenerates over time and sits completely separate from your in-combat stamina bar. When your pool runs dry, you can spend Glimmer a limited number of times each day to replenish it for boss catches.
Guaranteeing the catch
Anipod Ultras eliminate the percentage roll entirely by providing a guaranteed 100 percent capture rate. This applies to Alpha bosses and Umbral Aniimo alike.
Defeating an encounter like Alpha Stellarys and using a common pod can work, but the low base rate makes it an unreliable gamble for your Primegy. Save your highest-tier pods for Alpha targets instead of spending them on ordinary wild creatures.
Omega encounters
Not all major boss encounters permit capture. While Alphas grant a capture opportunity upon defeat, Omega Aniimo cannot be captured under any circumstances.
