What are Dazzling and Shadow Sparkling?
Dazzling and Shadow are two rare style variants among the 12 Sparkling Aniimo variations.
Both styles have a 0.5% roll rate when applying a sparkling pigment or sigil.
They function as cosmetic styles within the sparkling rarity rather than standalone base rarities. Common styles account for the other 99% of outcomes across the ten standard types.
Neither style alters combat performance or grants special attacks. The variation is entirely cosmetic, changing sparkle styles, colors, and visual effects. Any dazzling or shadow form you have not yet obtained remains hidden from preview in the Animolog. Research station filters automatically protect all sparkling Aniimo, so batch releasing common, good, or elite catches will not discard them.
Acquiring styles through conversion
You can roll for these styles by converting existing creatures. Catching a sparkling Aniimo awards a Sparkling Sigil. You can save and spend these sigils or shiny stamps to convert a standard Aniimo into a sparkling variant. Sparkling Pigments can also be purchased from Geoff at the Outpost item exchange menu and are stored under the pouch tab in your inventory.
Applying either a pigment or a sigil rerolls the cosmetic appearance across the twelve possibilities. The ten common styles take up the 99% rate, leaving a 0.5% chance for Dazzling and a 0.5% chance for Shadow.
