What does a Lucky Strike do?

Lucky Strikes sit on top of normal catching rather than being something you go and do. You throw at an Aniimo as usual and the strike fires on its own. Items are the everyday payout. The energy bump is the quieter one: it raises prismatic energy in the area around you, so the ground you are standing on is worth slightly more than it was a minute ago. The Prismana Flow is the rare result, a chance on the strike and not a guarantee.

The catch is that none of this compounds. Catch attempts carry a flat base probability of kicking off a Prismana Flow regardless of how much energy the region is holding, so the energy a Lucky Strike adds does not make the next one likelier to convert. Prismana Flow is triggered primarily through Nurture. Treat Lucky Strikes as free upside on catching you were going to do anyway, not as a way to farm flows.

What the energy in a zone is for

Capturing a lot of Aniimo in one zone lets you release Prismana energy there, so a long catching session in a single area builds toward something even without a Lucky Strike.

Nurturing does the same job more directly. It cultivates an area to generate Prismana energy, helps you capture Prismana Aniimo, and lets you change the weather. That last part matters because specific weather conditions trigger Prismana spawns in certain locations. The base probability of a Prismana appearing during nurturing is also flat across every attempt, so nurturing is about volume and about setting up conditions, not about charging a meter.

What you get at the end of a flow

A Prismana is an exceptionally rare variant of a Nova-stage Aniimo, with a modified 3D model and an alternate colour palette. It does not come with better stats, moves or abilities as a rule, and different forms of the same Aniimo share identical base stats.

Some Prismana forms do change typing or carry an exclusive skill, and some do not. Prismana Pawney keeps the pure Dark typing of its standard form, while Prismana Stellarys is Dark and Ice. So a Lucky Strike converting into a flow is a chance at something rare to look at, and sometimes at a genuinely different kit, but it is not a shortcut to a stronger team.

Not settled: How often a Lucky Strike fires in the first place is not pinned down, and since catch attempts use a flat base flow probability that ignores regional energy levels, there is no known way to push either rate higher.
