Guides › How Potential Grades Work
What is Acquired Potential?
Acquired Potential is the potential an Aniimo gains after capture, added by using items, and ranges from 10 to 20.
You raise this value in the Capability Awakening tab using materials like Star Sand.
Each of an Aniimo's six attributes is determined by both innate potential and acquired potential, giving you direct control over stat growth after capture. Pushing an attribute to higher levels requires progressively rarer enhancement materials, including Star Cyst Essence and Stardust Essence. Advancing potential beyond 10 points up to the 20 cap requires Star Essence.
Resetting invested stats
Invested training materials can be refunded by resetting an Aniimo's Capability Awakening. For creatures below level 60, resetting is completely free and returns all invested materials in full. Once an Aniimo reaches level 60, this reset option is no longer available, making your allocated potential permanent.
Not settled: Whether the Capability Awakening reset refund is strictly restricted below level 60 remains unsettled, as does whether Star Essence is consumed for leveling up or required to push potential beyond 10 points.
