What is Glimmer used for?
Glimmer is the primary premium currency. It is diamond-shaped, is distinct from Lumen, and is exchanged with vendors, including outpost vendors, and NPCs for valuable items, cosmetics and materials.
You can spend Glimmer to purchase items that normally require real money.
It is traded directly with NPCs and outpost vendors. These specific merchants accept the currency in exchange for valuable goods, cosmetics, and materials.
In beta 3, Glimmer purchased shop items, cosmetics, quality of life materials, and event items. Keeping a supply on hand lets you acquire those goods directly from outpost vendors whenever you encounter them.
