What materials are needed for Resonance Star Up?

Resonance Star Up requires dewdrops or Dewdrop Crystals along with an Elemental Stone or evolution crystals.

◇verified at launch · Sept 2026

Two kinds of material, and you need both. Dewdrops are the volume cost, and they come either as plain dewdrops or in Dewdrop Crystal form. The second half is element-specific: an Elemental Stone, or evolution crystals in its place. That split matters when you are stockpiling, because a pile of dewdrops on its own will not move a star rank.

Resonance is not the only star track. Resident Star Up asks for an Aniimo's Elemental Stone plus original Dewdrop Crystals, so the two systems draw on the same shelf of your inventory. An Elemental Stone you burn on one is not there for the other.

Why the star rank is worth the materials

Capability caps unlock progressively, and they key off two things: the Aniimo's level and its residence or resonance star rank. Levelling alone will stall you. If the caps are not moving, the star rank is usually what is holding them shut.

Omnisource Crystals sit apart from all of this. They are the Resonance material for pushing an Aniimo's stats past standard IV maximums, not for star ups, so do not plan to substitute one for the other.

Spending order

Capability Awakening is the forgiving system here. Resetting it refunds all the training materials you put in, so an Awakening mistake is recoverable. Whether that refund is restricted below level 60 is still unsettled. Star up materials carry no such safety net, which is an argument for committing Elemental Stones to the Aniimo you actually intend to keep.

Not settled: The exact item names are not locked down: dewdrops and Dewdrop Crystals both appear as the bulk cost, and evolution crystals stand in for the Elemental Stone in some builds.
