How are capability caps unlocked?

Capability caps unlock progressively based on an Aniimo's level and residence or resonance star rank.

◇verified at launch · Sept 2026

Raising an Aniimo's level alone will not grant access to its full stat potential. Progression requires advancing both character levels and resonance star ranks in tandem. As both metrics increase, capability slots open up and capability limits expand in stages.

Neglecting either rank will leave your Aniimo's stat ceilings restricted. Star rank advancements expand your capacity alongside standard leveling milestones, ensuring that true stat growth demands investment in both systems.

Capability Awakening and Level 60

Allocating stats within these unlocked limits is handled through Capability Awakening. For any Aniimo below level 60, you can reset Capability Awakening freely at any time. This reset completely refunds every invested training material, allowing you to reallocate your resources without loss.

Take care before crossing that threshold. Once an Aniimo reaches level 60 or higher, Capability Awakening can no longer be reset, locking your stat investments permanently.

Not settled: Whether the full material refund for resetting Capability Awakening is strictly restricted to Aniimo below level 60 is not settled across test builds.
