Homeland Base and RV Progression
Your Homeland is where passive stats, daily payouts and egg timers all live. Here is how the RV, the Daily Orders robot and the Hatchinator fit together.

Your Homeland is not decoration. Upgrading it feeds directly into your damage numbers, your shop access and how fast your eggs turn into Aniimo, so the time you put in there follows you out into the field.
The system has three moving parts worth learning early: the RV and its upgrade track, the daily earning loop that pays out Home Coins, and the Hatchinator where eggs actually become creatures.
This is pre-launch information from beta footage, so expect some numbers to shift. Where a detail is not nailed down yet, it is flagged below.
The RV, the portal, and why upgrades are a combat decision
Each Pathfinder owns an RV. It is a customizable base, and it contains the portal that connects to your personal Homeland area. That is your route in and out, so the RV is the hub for everything below.
Upgrading the RV system grants passive bonuses, and they are not cosmetic. You get boosts to attack damage and to elemental resistances. Those apply whether or not you are thinking about your base at the time, which makes RV upgrades one of the quieter power sources in the game.
Upgrading the Homeland itself pays out differently. It unlocks exclusive stock from in-game merchants, including Prismana Crystals, which are consumed during nurturing. So one track sharpens your combat stats and the other widens what you can buy. Both are worth pushing.

Daily Orders, Home Coins, and Aniimo who work while you do not
The Daily Orders robot in your Homeland hands out orders that refresh every 24 hours. They pay out roughly double rewards, including Flower Bud Coupons and Home Coins. Double is enough of a margin that skipping a day is a real loss, not a rounding error.
Alongside that, the Homeland runs a farming system. You assign Aniimo to work it, and they passively produce resources while you are off doing something else. The assignment costs you nothing in playtime once it is set, which is the point.
You can also build an Aniipod Maker in your Homeland base and produce your own Aniipods. Between the farm, the Maker and the daily order payouts, the base becomes a supply line rather than a place you visit once.
Where eggs hatch
Eggs go into incubators, and you have options. There are incubators in your Homeland base, at camp, and in the main city. You are not tied to your base to get an egg moving.
The Hatchinator also takes multiple eggs at once. Run them in parallel rather than queuing them one at a time, because incubation is measured on a timer and every egg not in an incubator is an egg not counting down.
The Caress cap and what friends are for
You can Caress your own incubating eggs at a Hatchinator in your Homeland, which shortens the egg's incubation timer. This is the main lever you have over hatch speed.
It is capped. The counter shows 20/20, so you get 20 uses, and it is reported to refresh daily. The exact reset timing is not confirmed yet, so treat the daily refresh as likely rather than certain until it is pinned down. Either way, 20 is a budget. Spend it on the egg you actually want first.
Friends visiting your Homeland can Caress an egg in your Hatchinator too, and each of those takes 10 minutes off the incubation timer. That is free progress on top of your own cap, so keep your base worth visiting and return the favour.

Treat the Homeland as part of your build, not a side room. Upgrade the RV for the combat bonuses, clear the Daily Orders while they are worth double, keep Aniimo working the farm, and spend your 20 Caresses on whatever egg you actually want hatched today.
