Can an Aniimo be both Prismana and sparkling?

These are two separate things sitting on the same creature. Prismana is a form: a rare, radiant version of a Nova-stage Aniimo with its own 3D model and an alternate color palette. Sparkling, or shiny, is a status the same Aniimo can carry at the same time. Nothing about one rules out the other.

Do not treat the combination as a power tier. Prismana variants do not inherently have better stats, moves or abilities, and different forms of the same Aniimo share identical base stats. How far a Prismana form goes beyond the model and the palette is not settled yet, since some of them clearly do more than look different while others do not.

What the Prismana half actually changes

Typing is the first place to look. A Prismana form can give an Aniimo a different element from its basic form, but not every one does. Prismana Stellarys is Dark and Ice. Prismana Grizzbolt is Dark and Earth. Prismana Pawney keeps the pure Dark typing of its standard form, and Prismana Ignitis shares the typing of its Highland form.

Skills vary the same way. Prismana Blazen has an exclusive Dark-type skill, and Prismana Fenmane has an exclusive Light-element skill even though Fenmane is a Lightning-element Aniimo. Prismana Glacie's Flickering Shot is the strongest of these, an unconditional 15% team damage buff for 15 seconds. Not everything that looks form-exclusive is. Prismana Glacy has Glimmer Shot, which belongs to Glacy's standard skill set anyway. And the form is not automatically an upgrade: Prismana Blazen deals less break damage than other Break Aniimo.

Chasing a Prismana Sparkling

Nurturing is the main lever. It cultivates an area to generate Prismana energy, aids in capturing Prismana Aniimo, and lets you change the weather, which matters because specific weather conditions trigger Prismana spawns in certain locations. Capturing a lot of Aniimo in a zone lets you release Prismana energy there. A Lucky Strike during catching awards items, raises prismic energy around you, and can kick off a Prismana Flow on the spot.

The thing to understand before you grind for it: the base probability of a Prismana appearance during nurturing is flat and stays the same on every attempt, regardless of regional energy levels. Failed attempts do not build toward anything.

Not settled: Whether being a Prismana changes the odds of also rolling sparkling, or whether the two are rolled independently, is not settled.
