Can expedition eggs inherit forms and mutations?
Eggs obtained from expeditions have a chance to inherit the form and mutations of the parent Aniimo.
Every expedition egg matches the family or evolution line of the deployed Aniimo. Sending a parent with a specific form or mutation is the practical way to target those traits on future hatches, though inheritance is never guaranteed on a given trip.
Longer expedition durations increase the chance of an Aniimo returning with an egg. Dispatches run through your Homeland RV can also bring back eggs carrying the Prismana trait, alongside baseline materials and held items. The dispatch leader can also gain +1 random potential stat from the investigation.
Hatching expedition eggs
Once an egg is secured, you hatch it by placing it into an incubator called a Hatchinator. These incubators are available in the outpost town, at camp, in the main city, and can be placed and used directly at your homestead base.
