Do pre-registration rewards include AniPods?
Pre-registration rewards include two AniPod Ultras at the 15 million milestone.
◇verified at launch · Sept 2026
This is a community milestone, not a personal one. Nothing you do individually unlocks it. The count has to reach 15 million pre-registrations, and then everyone who signed up gets the pair. You will also see the same item written as Ultra Animopods in places. It is one item under two names, so do not go looking for a second reward.
Two is the whole amount, which makes them an opening pair rather than a supply. AniPod Ultras are the high-tier capture item, so the sensible plan is to hold them for something you actually want rather than spending them on the first creature that walks past.
The other announced milestone sits at 30 million and unlocks the Sunlit Myriad limited outfit set, which is cosmetic and nothing else. That leaves the AniPod Ultras as the only part of the pre-registration track that changes how you play.
Pre-registering and pre-ordering are separate things
Pre-registration is the free sign-up that feeds the milestone counts. Pre-order bundles and extended editions are a purchase, and they come with their own starting items and bonuses on top. Pre-orders are open on consoles, Xbox included, so which of the two you have done determines what is waiting for you at launch.
Anipods can also be earned for free through standard gameplay rewards and in-game events. The milestone pair is a head start on the highest tier, not your only route to capture items.
Not settled: The pre-registration track is only laid out as far as the 30 million milestone, so whether any higher tier adds more AniPods is unsettled.
