Does defeating bloom Aniimo grow the fruit?
Defeating wild Aniimo during bloom events, wild surges, or nurture attempts fails to advance cultivation and wastes nurture attempts.
Killing attracted Aniimo burns limited nurture attempts without growing the fruit.
During a wild surge, striking down enemies will not advance the central Vane Fruit. Group appearances share this limitation, meaning combat victories yield nothing toward your harvest.
The mechanic requires you to catch the attracted Aniimo rather than defeat them. Knocking them out treats the encounter as resolved while forfeiting the cultivation progress the attempt was intended to provide.
