Guides › Bloom shard offerings: choosing which Aniimo nurture spawns
What happens when you nurture a bloom?
Nurturing a bloom on a tree or a convergence point with Vein Essence triggers outbreaks and Wild Surges, attracting a circle of about 20 wild Aniimo native to that region around the spot to capture.
You must catch all 20 targets within the time limit to release zone Prismatic Energy. Interacting with the bloom plant and selecting the option to attract Aniimo initiates the phase, drawing local wild Aniimo to gather around the bloom. Once you catch every target Aniimo in the surge, interact with the zone flower to release the energy. Each capture during the sequence charges the regional bloom meter.
The event duration was increased from 2 minutes to 3 minutes. The quality of items offered during ecosystem nurturing no longer determines the quality of a wild surge, so offering higher quality items does not produce better surges.
Encounter Variations and Map Tracking
Active weather conditions and the time of day determine which Aniimo species and forms appear in bloom nurture encounters. Aniimo can feature weather-based forms and other variations separate from Prismana variants. A single Aniimo can spawn with both a Prismana form and shiny or sparkling status at the same time.
Bloom event locations appear on the map marked by a flower or dark blue tulip-shaped icon. You can display these locations using map filters or the deliver Lumin Embers button.
