Does evolving an Aniimo keep perfect potential?

The rule holds through to the Nova form, the third and final evolutionary stage. Whether an Aniimo advances simply by gaining levels or by meeting special conditions, its capability ratings carry over untouched.

Umbral Aniimo operate under the exact same logic. Evolving an Umbral creature retains its perfect condition and stats, giving you complete freedom to advance rare finds.

Branching paths and Dex checks

Certain Aniimo species evolve along branching paths rather than a single linear line. These offer two path options leading to different evolved forms, each with its own requirements determined by quest decisions and items collected.

Neither path threatens the creature's grading status. You can verify evolution paths and gene sequences at any time in the Aniimo menu or Dex.
