Does the Companion Handbook give a Prismana egg?

The egg sits at level 10 of the paid track, which means buying the Advanced Companion Handbook does not hand it to you on the spot. You have to push the handbook to level 10 first. The premium track costs $9.99, and the Prismana egg is the headline item on it, sitting alongside evolution materials and other rewards spread through the levels.

What makes it worth the climb is the guarantee attached. The egg produces a designated Aniimo at a perfect rating. Every other egg in the game hands out a fixed Potential grade on the same four-tier scale as a caught Aniimo, Common, Good, Elite or Perfect, and you find out what you got when it hatches. This one removes the roll entirely. You know the species and you know the grade before you incubate it.

The species is the part you cannot count on. Which Prismana egg the handbook awards changes between seasons and between versions, so the answer depends on which build you are playing. In the build this was tracked in, level 10 gave a Prismana Volmantis egg. If you are buying the handbook for one particular Aniimo, check what your version is actually offering before you pay.

If you played the closed beta

Nothing you did with Prismana forms in testing helps you here. Prismana Form Aniimo from the closed beta tests do not carry over to launch, because Prismana Forms were excluded from the Bond Pact event that let testers seal one Aniimo in an egg and reclaim it at release. Prismana and other special Aniimo cannot be sealed inside Promise Eggs as carryover rewards at all. A launch account therefore starts from nothing on this front, and the handbook egg is one of the earliest guaranteed Prismana you can hold.

Not settled: Because the designated species rotates by season and version, the Volmantis egg is specific to the build it appeared in. A later season can put a different Aniimo at level 10.
