How to get Prismana eggs in Aniimo
Prismana eggs come from paid bundles, the premium handbook track, the monthly shop and nurturing. Here is what each route gives you, what nurturing consumes, and why a Prismana can never be handed forward as a carryover reward.
The short version
- The $9.99 Advanced Pack includes a Prismana Aniimo egg.
- The premium Advanced Companion Handbook awards an exclusive Prismana Aniimo egg at level 10, and which egg that is changes across seasons and versions.
- Nurturing is another way to get a Prismana, and it consumes Prismana Crystals, which in-game merchants only stock once you upgrade your Homeland.
- Prismana eggs hatch like other eggs and can produce a perfect Aniimo.
- Prismana and other special Aniimo cannot be sealed inside Promise Eggs as carryover rewards.
Prismana is one of the rarity values the game tracks, alongside Alpha, and a Prismana form is one of the things a collector goes back for long after the species itself is caught. Getting one as an egg is the fastest version of that chase, because an egg you hatch yourself can come out perfect.
There are four routes worth knowing: a paid pack, the premium handbook track, the monthly shop, and nurturing. They are not equivalent. Two of them hand you a specific egg, one depends on what the shop is rotating, and the last is a system you have to feed.
This page is about acquiring and hatching Prismana eggs specifically. General egg sources and what hatches from them are covered elsewhere on the site.
The routes that hand you a Prismana egg
The simplest is the Advanced Pack. It costs $9.99 and it includes a Prismana Aniimo egg. You buy it, you have the egg.
The premium Advanced Companion Handbook is the other direct route. It awards an exclusive Prismana Aniimo egg at level 10. Note the word exclusive: the specific egg varies across seasons and versions, so the one in the current track is not necessarily the one somebody described to you last season. The Advanced Companion Handbook's reward list also includes a perfect-potential Prismana Aniimo egg, along with evolution materials and other items, which is the reason the track is worth finishing rather than abandoning partway.
Then there is the monthly shop. Prismana Orbs appear in it occasionally, as part of the rotation rather than as a permanent listing. An occasional listing is one you miss by not looking, so checking the shop when it turns over is a habit worth having.

Advanced Companion Handbook

Nurturing, and what it eats
Nurturing is the other way to obtain a Prismana Aniimo. How central it is to the game's design is not settled: it is described both as the primary method of getting a Prismana and as an alternative to the egg routes above. Treat it as a real route either way, and use whichever description matches what you are seeing in your own save.
What matters more is the cost. Nurturing consumes Prismana Crystals, and Prismana Crystals are part of the exclusive stock that in-game merchants only carry once you have upgraded your Homeland. So Homeland upgrades are not a side activity if Prismana is your goal. They are the supply line.
The free allotment is the one thing you should not plan around. It is given both as a single daily use that opens when you unlock the feature, and as three regenerating attempts shared with essence abundance, which can reach unique rank. Those are different systems, and which one you have is worth confirming in your own menu before you budget crystals against it.
Hatching a Prismana egg
Prismana eggs hatch, and they have the potential to yield a perfect Aniimo. That is the whole appeal. An egg is a roll at a top-grade creature in a way that catching one in the field is not.
Two things change how that roll goes. A Sparkling Cube applies during egg incubation, not only at capture, and since the launch update it grants guaranteed Perfect Potential as well as forcing the Sparkling variant. Used on a capture instead, it guarantees the catch. That is a strong item and a narrow decision about where to spend it.
The other thing is the gate on sealed promise eggs. At launch they cannot be hatched immediately. You first have to unlock that Aniimo's form in the Anilog by catching its basic version. If you are sitting on a sealed egg and nothing is happening, that is why.
A Prismana stays where it is
Prismana and other special Aniimo cannot be sealed inside Promise Eggs as carryover rewards. There is no route that lets you package one up and carry it forward. Whatever you get, you get where you got it, and a Prismana you want later is one you will have to acquire again through the routes above.
That is worth knowing before you spend, because it reframes the Advanced Pack and the handbook egg. They are not investments that travel.
Finding them again in your box
The Aniimo storage box filters by rarity value, and Prismana is one of those values, as is Alpha. It also filters by Potential grade: Common, Good, Elite and Perfect. Between the two filters you can pull up every Prismana you own and see at a glance which came out at the top grade and which did not.
That matters because Prismana is one entry on a longer list. Beyond catching a single copy of a species, the game gives you reasons to keep hunting the same creature: better Potential, different traits, Sparkling versions, different regional or alternate forms, and Prismana forms. The filters are how you tell which of those a given creature already covers, and which are still open.
- CommonThe lowest Potential grade the box filter offers.
- GoodThe second Potential grade you can filter by.
- EliteThe third Potential grade in the filter.
- PerfectGuaranteed by a Sparkling Cube since the launch update, and the grade the Handbook egg arrives at.
Where to start
If you want a Prismana egg today, the Advanced Pack and the premium Advanced Companion Handbook at level 10 are the two routes that hand you one outright. If you would rather earn it, upgrade your Homeland first so merchants stock Prismana Crystals, then nurture. Check the monthly shop for Prismana Orbs while you are at it, and hold your Sparkling Cube for an incubation rather than a capture.
