How to get Prismana eggs in Aniimo

The core rule is simple. A Prismana egg guarantees the hatched Aniimo is in its Prismana form.

Where you got the egg matters. Dark (Umbra) Prismana forms come only from Prismana eggs taken in Egg Heist, and those eggs are guaranteed to hatch an Umbra Aniimo. A Prismana egg from your Homeland or the battle pass will not get you one, so if you want an Umbra Prismana, Egg Heist is your only option.

There is also a small bonus on top. Anything hatched from a Prismana egg has a tiny chance of carrying the Shadow Sparkling Mutation, the same as when you hatch a shop-bought Prismana egg with a Sparkling Cube. Don't plan around it. It's a nice surprise when it happens.

Operation Egg Heist hands out a broad selection of special eggs, and the rare ones are Prismana and Umbral (Darkler) eggs. Competing teams extract eggs, and you are awarded them when you extract. The mysterious Prismana eggs can be farmed, and there are three Prismana egg rewards to work toward.

The catch is difficulty. Prismana eggs are rare Egg Heist rewards from Hard difficulty onward, including Nightmare, and they do not drop on Normal. Normal rewards can still include an Umbral egg, and Egg Heist is the place to farm those as well; in the beta it was the only place to get them. Some Prismana eggs sit behind locked doors, so check them when you find one. Shrine locations can be shown on the map, where Egg Heist marks them with a pillar icon.

Nightmare is the highest standard difficulty, above Hard, and you reach it by ranking up. Chaos Mode has been announced as the hardest tier above Nightmare, with significantly higher drop rates for prismatic drops such as Prismana Aniimo eggs and other prismatic collectibles. What hatches is worth the effort. Egg Heist eggs hatch into usable regular, Umbral or Prismana Aniimo from any region, including fully evolved forms such as fully evolved Umbrals, and forms you cannot get anywhere else in the game.

The easiest Prismana eggs come from your Homeland. Reaching Homeland level 15 rewards a mysterious Prismana egg, and reaching Homeland level 18 rewards another.

You don't need any skill or luck for these, only progress. If you have been neglecting your Homeland, these two rewards are a good reason to go back to it.

The premium Advanced Companion Handbook gives you early access to the season's featured Prismana Aniimo by awarding an exclusive Prismana egg at level 10. Which egg it is changes between seasons and versions, so check the current pass rather than assuming last season's reward.

The free Standard Edition track is less settled. Its level 10 egg has been given as a Fulmintis egg, which is the only way for free-to-play players to get one and arrives sooner or later depending on your story progress. It has also been given as an Incredible Flamentus Egg, with the advanced edition awarding a Prismana Flamentus egg. This depends on the season, so look at what your own pass shows at level 10.

Events add a few more. The egg hunt event quest gives a Prism Aura egg. In the seasonal event you can spend stamps on a Sparkling Egg.

The collectible display case is worth filling. Displaying prismatic relics there unlocks egg rewards, including Prismana or Umbral eggs, mystery egg boxes and avatar frames. Since Egg Heist also drops prismatic collectibles, your Heist runs feed this source too.

Outstanding Polaris Institute students can earn displayed Prismana Aniimo eggs. Among the six Junior Wayfarer Prismana options, Witchin is a Regeneration-role support and the only healer, which makes it the pick if your team is short on healing.

You can also skip eggs entirely. Prismana Aniimo can be encountered and captured in the open world through Blooms, which you get through cultivation: nurturing regional branches or blooms with offerings of flowers. Whether this is the main route or a side option is not settled yet.

When you do find an egg in the world, you dig it out of its nest by interacting and pressing the on-screen dig button repeatedly. In the Sanctum, you unearth it by pressing the F key.

06Where to start

Start by getting your Homeland to levels 15 and 18 for the free Prismana eggs, and take the level 10 egg if you buy the Advanced Companion Handbook. After that, farm Egg Heist on Hard or Nightmare. It's the only repeatable source, and the only one that gives you Umbra Prismana forms.
