What is Star Sand used for?
Star Sand is used for capability awakening, raising an Aniimo's potential.
Higher potential lowers the total Astranite needed to max out an Aniimo's stats. An Aniimo's enhancement costs scale directly against its potential value, so raising this ceiling reduces the overall investment required for combat development.
Pushing capability awakening past early ranks requires additional progression items. Star Essence is needed to upgrade Awaken Potential beyond 10 points up to the 20 cap, though Star Essence is also consumed to level up an Aniimo. More advanced stat ceilings later require materials like Omnisource Crystals to push beyond standard maximums.
