How do you catch Aniimo?
Anipods are the standard capture devices used to catch wild Aniimo, which are caught in the open world by aiming and throwing an Anipod at them.
Any throw below 100% can fail after the pod shakes, but missed throws return to you.
Aiming an Anipod at a wild Aniimo displays your catch success chance before releasing it. Throwing capture pods from behind a creature or from hiding inside foliage increases capture chances.
Every throw also has a 0.6% chance to trigger a Lucky Strike, which increases Prismana energy, or an Extra Lucky Strike.
Catching Alpha Aniimo
Alpha monsters can be caught using an Anipod after defeating them in combat.
Base capture rates on Boss and Alpha targets are low, typically sitting between 8 and 12 percent with standard capture devices, and around 10% per attempt with common Anipods. An Alpha Aniimo such as Stellarys can be caught with standard devices, though not reliably, while defeating it and then throwing an Anipod Ultra secures a guaranteed 100% capture.
