How do you earn Petals from tasks?
Petals are earned from tasks, including weekly rotation tasks and a permanent task subsection, with income gated by the weekly reset.
Two task lists pay Petals: a weekly rotation and a permanent subsection that stays put.
The weekly reset sets the pace. Once you have cleared the rotation tasks on offer, the next batch of Petals arrives only after the reset, and no amount of extra play brings it forward. In practice you clear the rotation each week, because a week you skip is Petal income you do not get back by doubling up later.
The permanent subsection is the steadier source. It does not cycle out with the rotation, so its tasks can be picked off whenever they suit you. The weekly rotation is the part with a deadline.
Not settled: It is not settled whether the permanent subsection's tasks refresh at the weekly reset alongside the rotation or pay out only once each.
