How do you get an Aniipod Ultra in the event?

The reward is per person, not per squad. Everyone sitting in that group of six gets one, so joining a squad that already has five members earns you exactly what the player who started it gets. There is no bonus for being the organiser and no partial credit at four or five. It is a headcount, and you need five other people to clear it.

The window matters as much as the number. The Time to Aniimo pre-launch web event ran from August 26 to September 3, 2026 (UTC+8), and it ran on the official website rather than inside the game. A squad had to be full inside that window.

What the Aniipod Ultra is for

An Aniipod Ultra guarantees that the Aniimo you catch with it comes out at Elite potential or higher. That is the whole value of it. One squad reward is one guaranteed good catch, so it is worth holding for something you actually want rather than spending on the first creature you meet.

The rest of the event

The squad reward was not the only thing the web event handed out. Logging in each day on the official website gave you a free allowance of three random Aniimo eggs to hatch, and that allowance reset once per day, so missing a day cost you three eggs you could not get back later.

Participants also picked an Aniimo to twine with as part of taking part. That choice is separate from the squad reward and does not affect whether you get the Aniipod Ultra.
