Beta Builds vs Launch: What Carried Over
Aniimo's betas left a paper trail. Here is what came out of them, what is documented as changing, and how to tell whether a guide you are reading describes the live game or a build that no longer exists.
The short version
- Aniimo remains actively in development, and the full roster of creatures available at launch has not been confirmed.
- The Bonded Promise event let beta participants pick one Aniimo to carry forward into the full launch.
- That Aniimo arrives sealed. You reclaim it only after unlocking its corresponding form in the Aniilog in the live game.
- Both starter creatures were categorized as special Aniimo in the beta, which barred them from the Bond Pact sealing event.
- The third beta ran an Irisalis event: a legendary Aniimo behind a gacha with limited resources and pity guarantees.
- The developers are reviewing and refining how players acquire Irisalis, based on player feedback.
- Diamond Egg Heist arrived in the third beta. Up to six teams of three players contest a single objective.
- Certain Egg Heist rewards were obtainable exclusively through its PvP mode during the beta.
Almost everything written about Aniimo right now comes from beta footage. That is not a problem by itself. It becomes a problem when a guide states a restriction as permanent and the reader has no way to tell which build it came from.
The useful move is to sort what you read into two piles. One pile is systems introduced in a specific beta, some of which are documented as under review. The other is the small set of commitments that reach across from beta into launch, most importantly the Bonded Promise carryover.
This is a guide to telling those piles apart.
Aniimo is still being built
Start with the plain statement: Aniimo remains actively in development. The full roster of creatures available at launch has not yet been confirmed. Any guide presenting a complete creature list is describing a build, not the game you will play.
The same caution applies to how characters feel. During the beta, Lunara offered a more forgiving playstyle thanks to ranged combat and self-healing. That is a real observation about a real build. It is also the kind of thing that shifts between versions, so treat it as a snapshot rather than a promise about launch balance.
Bonded Promise, and the one Aniimo you keep
The Bonded Promise event allowed beta participants to select one Aniimo to carry forward into the full launch. One creature, chosen once. That is the clearest line running from the test builds into the live game.
There is a condition attached. A sealed Aniimo from the Bonded Promise event can only be reclaimed after unlocking that Aniimo's corresponding form in the Aniilog in the live game. So the carryover is not a head start you cash in at the title screen. You do the work in the live game first, which means a beta participant's chosen creature may sit sealed for a while.
Starters were excluded. In the beta, both starter creatures were categorized as special Aniimo, and that classification is exactly why they could not be selected for the Bond Pact sealing event. If a guide tells you someone sealed a starter, the guide is wrong about the beta rules.
Irisalis and the gacha under review
The Irisalis event in the third beta awarded a legendary Aniimo through a gacha system with limited resources and pity guarantees. Limited resources set a hard ceiling on how many attempts you get. Pity guarantees set a floor on how badly it can go. Together they define the whole event, so any account of Irisalis that skips one of them is describing half a system.
This is also the most volatile thing in this article. The developers are reviewing and refining how players acquire Irisalis based on player feedback. Anything you read about acquiring Irisalis should be assumed to describe the third beta specifically, and nothing later.
Diamond Egg Heist and its PvP-only rewards
Diamond Egg Heist was introduced in the third beta. It pits up to six teams of three players against each other over a single objective. Eighteen players, one thing worth having. That structure tells you most of what you need: contested from the opening, and decided by who can take and hold the objective.
During the beta, certain Egg Heist rewards were obtainable exclusively through its PvP mode. If you plan to avoid PvP entirely, that is where the beta drew a line and put things on the far side of it. Whether the line stays there at launch is a question the current information does not answer.

Where to start
When you read an Aniimo guide, check which beta it came from. Third beta material covers Irisalis and Diamond Egg Heist, and the Irisalis half is explicitly being reworked. The Bonded Promise carryover matters most, because it reaches into the live game. Just remember its two conditions: unlock the form in the Aniilog before you reclaim the creature, and starters were never eligible in the first place.
Built from 10 facts gathered before launch, each checked against the sources it came from. How we know this, and who we learned it from.
