How does catching Aniimo fill the map percentage?
Catching wild Aniimo raises a region's capture completion percentage, the map exploration figure shown when that region is selected on the map.
Registering a new native species directly advances that territory's exploration tally. You view the current percentage at any time simply by selecting that specific region on the map.
Every unique wild Aniimo you catch and register within a zone increases the regional completion figure.
Unlocks at 40% completion
Reaching 40% area completion requires capturing 40% of the unique Aniimo native to that zone. Doing so awards the Bronze Capture Medal, also called the bronze collection badge, along with Vein Essence.
This 40% milestone also grants access to the regional Branch and unlocks area nurture events. You cannot participate in nurture events in a zone until that 40% mark is achieved.
Not settled: The requirement for interacting with and nurturing a region's blooms is unsettled. It is listed both as reaching bronze regional completion and as capturing at least 80% of the Aniimo species in that region.
