Regional Branch catch perks and bronze badges in Aniimo
Catch 40% of a region's native species to earn its bronze badge, Vein Essence and nurture access. After that, Lumin Amber in the Branch raises your catch rates there.
The short version
- Capturing 40% of the unique Aniimo native to a region earns that region's Bronze Capture Medal and Vein Essence.
- The bronze badge is what opens a region's Branch and its nurture events. Below 40% catch completion you cannot take part in nurture there.
- Infusing a region's Branch with Lumin Amber upgrades its passive tree, which improves stats, mobility and capture rates inside that region only.
- The requirement for interacting with a region's blooms is not settled: it is given both as the bronze badge and as catching at least 80% of the region's species.
- Your progress toward the badge is the capture completion percentage shown when you select a region on the map.
Every region in Aniimo keeps its own count of how many of its native species you have caught. At 40% it gives you a bronze badge, and that badge is the key to the region's Branch, which carries a passive tree full of perks for that area, including better capture rates.
Catching is the only way to get creatures. Aniimo has no gacha system: no character banners, no loot boxes, no pulls. You find Aniimo in the wild and catch them without paying real money. That makes regional completion the main thing you are working on anyway, and the badge is how the game rewards it.
This page covers what the bronze badge asks for, what it unlocks, and what the Branch perks do once you have it.
What the bronze badge asks for
The target is 40% of the unique Aniimo native to a region. Get there and the game hands you the region's Bronze Capture Medal along with Vein Essence. This happens per region, so every zone has its own bronze badge and its own 40% line.
You can see how close you are on the map. Select a region and it shows a capture completion percentage, which is the same figure as the region's exploration progress. Catching wild Aniimo pushes it up, and catching and registering a species you have not caught before raises both catch completion and exploration progress.
The badge counts unique species native to the zone, so a new registration is what you should be hunting. When the number stalls, go looking for a species you have not caught yet.

Regional capture completion for bronze
What bronze opens up in a region
The bronze badge is a gate as well as a trophy. A region's Branch and its nurture access unlock when you earn that region's bronze collection badge, and you cannot take part in nurture events in an area until you have caught at least 40% of the Aniimo there. Until you reach bronze, that region's nurture content is simply closed to you.
Blooms are less clear-cut. The requirement for interacting with and nurturing a region's blooms is not settled. One version ties it to bronze regional completion, the same badge as everything else. The other asks for at least 80% of the region's species. If you reach bronze and still cannot use a region's blooms, keep catching; the higher bar may be the one that applies. Bloom bonuses themselves belong to Vein Abundance events, which have their own guide.
Branch perks and Lumin Amber
Once a region's Branch is open, you upgrade it by infusing it with Lumin Amber. Each region's Branch has a passive tree, and upgrading it improves your stats, your mobility and your capture rates within that region. The perks are local. A Branch you have built up in one region does nothing for you in the next.
Capture rate is the perk that feeds back into the badge chase. Upgrading a regional Branch increases the capture rate for Aniimo, and at least one branch upgrade specifically improves catch rates for certain Aniimo. So the loop is: catch enough to earn bronze, spend Lumin Amber on the Branch, and catch the rest of the region more easily. Where to farm the amber is covered in the Lumin Amber guide.
Filling out a region's roster
Aniimo is an open-world monster-catching game, and its genre is not settled: it gets described both as a survival game and as an open-world action role-playing game. Either way, catching means exploring. The world has multiple biomes with distinct Aniimo habitats, underground caves, and water you can swim across, and different species live in different places.
Starfall Valley shows the spread in a single area: water pools, grasslands and giant trees. When a region's percentage stalls, a terrain type you have been skipping is the obvious place to check, whether that is a pool, a cave or the far side of a lake.
Keep an eye out for eggs while you do it. Aniimo eggs are hidden throughout the open world and you pick them up as items while exploring the wild.
Where to start
In each new region, push its map percentage to 40% first by chasing species you have not registered. That earns the Bronze Capture Medal and Vein Essence, and it opens the Branch and nurture events. Then put Lumin Amber into that region's Branch so the capture rate bonus helps with the rest of the roster. If a region's blooms stay locked after bronze, keep catching, because the requirement for blooms is not settled.
