How many maps does Egg Heist have?
Egg Heist has seven maps in total, used across modes including Chaos and Nightmare.
The seven maps are predetermined, so the same layouts keep coming back. Learning them pays off.
It pays off most at the top end. Higher ranks and difficulties hide the labyrinth under fog of war until you explore it. On Nightmare and Chaos the game won't show you the layout, so you have to recognise it yourself. The way in and out stays the same on every map. You start on the beach beside the boats, enter the Sanctum through the blue gate, and leave through the purple gate, which puts you back outside near the boats.
How many eggs each Egg Heist map holds
No map has a fixed number of eggs. Eggs sit in nests at fixed spawn positions, and only in certain room types, such as large rooms and locked key rooms. Each position only has a chance of holding an egg, and some positions have better odds than others. Knowing a map tells you where to look. It doesn't promise an egg will be there.
In Chaos, almost no eggs lie in the open, so on any of the seven maps the locked key rooms are essentially where the eggs are. Every team in the run is competing for the same eggs, so the team that already knows which rooms to head for has the advantage.
