Guides › Aniimo combat roles: shared energy, presets and rules
How many skills can an Aniimo equip?
Each Aniimo can equip up to two regular combat skills, which can be chosen, in addition to one ultimate attack, giving three active abilities at any given time.
Equipped skills consume energy and run on cooldowns during real-time combat.
Twining gives you direct control over the creature on the field. In this state, you use its basic attack, your two chosen active skills, an evasive maneuver, and the ultimate attack. Twining also lets you manually aim where those equipped abilities land.
In Command Mode, the Pathfinder stays on the field directing the Aniimo instead of piloting it directly. You trigger those same equipped abilities while the Aniimo fights automatically. Because an active party holds a maximum of four Aniimo, each creature you switch to brings its own pair of skills into combat.
