Do different Aniimo have unique movesets?

Each Aniimo has a unique moveset, active combat skills, movement options, and combat role.

Your loadout consists of one primary active Aniimo and up to three support Aniimo. Taking direct control of a creature gives you immediate access to its specific skill kit, combat role, and movement tools. Ground-based and airborne Aniimo follow different combat behaviors, with flying Aniimo carrying an innate weakness to ranged attacks.

Mobility differences also alter defensive options. Tunneling species such as Minespine, Geodeback, and Pebbling can burrow underground. While submerged, they are completely immune to ranged attacks, but remain vulnerable to Tremor skills that can knock them out.

Skill kits and conditional triggers

Individual abilities carry specialized mechanics. Thornblade's E ability executes an aerial dash accompanied by multiple strikes. Helion uses an empowered attack to stun targets. Lunara's normal attacks consume stacks of Power of the Moon to restore both health and energy.

Certain skills also tie directly to defensive movement. Fire Kick inflicts increased damage when performed immediately following a successful dodge.

Team rotations and combat roles

Active skills draw from a shared energy pool. Spamming abilities empties this meter quickly, making planned skill rotations and creature swaps far more effective than staying on one moveset.

Roles dictate how you build those rotations. Aniimo assigned to the break role specialize in chewing through the gray break bar situated under an enemy's red health bar to stagger and stun targets. Creature profiles are further differentiated by their distribution across six base stats: HP, Attack, Physical Defense, Magic Defense, Regen, and Break.
